1.What Availability Do You Have For My Wedding Date?

We can provide this information once you enquire. Our availability for 2024 is limited, and 2025 is becoming increasingly busy. It is recommended to enquire at your earliest convenience. Dates can only be provisionally reserved after you have taken a one-on-one tour with one of our team members – to ensure fairness for all.

2. How Many Guests Can Fit In Your Venue?

Our venue can accommodate up to 130 guests during the day and up to 200 in the evening. It is spacious enough for these maximum capacities yet still intimate for more smaller weddings as well.

3. How Long Can I Provisionally Hold a Date For?

We offer a complimentary hold on a wedding date for up to 7 days. This grace period allows you to have time to ask questions, share your wedding ideas with family, and organise your registrar/celebrant.

  4. Do We Arrange Our Registrar? Who Do We Contact?

You will need to organise and cover the costs for your registrar independently. Our registrar is under the Cardiff Council Registry Office; you can reach them at 02920 871 680. It is advisable to get in touch with them promptly to secure a favourable ceremony time for your special day.

5. Are You a licenced Venue to Hold Civil Ceremonies?

Yes. We offer two licenced ceremony spaces for you to choose from: indoor or outdoor. Both options will be available to you, but the outdoor space will be weather-dependent.

6. Where Do We Get Married Outside? What’s Your Plan B if It Rains?

Our enchanting secret garden serves as the perfect setting for outdoor ceremonies, nestled within woodlands. Whether it’s a sunny day or the weather takes an unexpected turn leading up to your wedding, we offer both outdoor and indoor setups. On the morning of your special day, we will discuss the weather conditions with you to decide on the ceremony location, seamlessly transitioning indoors if needed.

7. Will I Have Support from Your Venue Coordinators?

Lewis, Abigail, Sam and Rachel are here to assist you without a doubt. In our roles as venue coordinators, we can assist and support you – from your first enquiry, all the way through to your wedding day. We appreciate having a familiar face available for assistance will reduce any nerves!

8. Are You an Exclusive Venue? What Does That Mean?

We take pride in our exclusivity! As a dedicated wedding and events venue, we do not open to the general public, except for dining experiences on selected dates. We are not a hotel or a restaurant. When you choose us for your wedding, rest assured that your special day will be our sole focus, with only you, your guests, your suppliers, and our welcoming staff present at the manor.

9. What’s Included in Your Venue Charge?

Our venue fee offers you exclusivity for your wedding day, along with all the necessary staff to ensure a smooth and delightful experience. The package includes tablecloths, napkins, silverware, crockery, and glassware. Additionally, all tables, chiavari chairs, outdoor chairs, lawn furniture, easel and card postbox are also included.

10. Are Fireworks And Confetti Allowed?

We have collaborated with a fireworks company that provides silent fireworks. This choice is influenced by our rural setting, which is in close proximity to livestock and farms, plus our awareness of the local environment and its wildlife is a top priority.

Confetti should consist of either natural or dried flower petals, which will blend into our flower beds and landscaped gardens after use. The entrance of the manor is an ideal spot for the confetti moment!

11. Do You Cater For Dietary Requirements? Vegan / Dairy-free / Gluten-free /allergies etc?
